Investment Casting Services

With rigorous control and consistent process evaluation, Post Precision Castings, Inc. provides investment castings in 100 alloy steel compositions, including stainless, low alloy, heat resistant, wear resistant, and corrosion resistant alloys.  We produce castings ranging from 1 ounce to 250 pounds in order quantities from one to several thousand castings.  Our surface finish is typically 125 RMS.  With a full service machine shop and personnel experienced in all steps of the production process, we can handle every need from building tools, manufacturing castings, and machining the castings.

Our focus on quality control provides your best assurance that all castings will conform and comply with your specifications.  All of our investment casting QC equipment is housed in our metallurgical lab.  We provide first piece wax inspections and final casting inspections to verify the quality of the entire production run.  Investment casting tools are inspected prior to each issuance to the injection floor.  Our testing capabilities include chemical, physical, and non-destructive testing such as spectrographic analysis, radiography, fluorescent zyglo, and more.  We will work with you to verify we can meet the best testing process for your application.

Post Precision Castings, Inc. regularly exceeds our customer’s on-time performance (OTP) expectations of 95%, and our return goods from customers is less than one (1) percent of casting sales.  In addition, we can work with you to develop Kanban short term delivery programs to better manage your inventory.  We offer full support services including finished casting machining and rapid prototyping.  Please contact Post Precision Castings for more information on the many capabilities and applications for the castings we produce.
